ChatGPT Version for Large Business With More Security.

OpenAI, a leading artificial intelligence organization, has announced the release of ChatGPT Enterprise, a version of its AI model targeted towards large businesses. This move brings OpenAI's technology more in line with the offerings provided by its financial supporter, Microsoft.

ChatGPT Enterprise comes with enhanced security, privacy features, and faster access to OpenAI's AI capabilities. Notable early adopters of this enterprise solution include companies like Block, Carlyle, and Estee Lauder Companies.

OpenAI initially gained widespread attention with the consumer-focused ChatGPT, which garnered substantial use in various tasks such as writing and coding. However, some employees in the US have reported using ChatGPT for work-related activities, even if their employers discouraged it, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

With the introduction of ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI aims to encourage employers to embrace the use of ChatGPT within the workplace. This enterprise version is positioned to offer businesses a practical AI tool for improving efficiency and productivity in various business tasks.

Microsoft, which financially backs OpenAI, already provides businesses access to ChatGPT through its Azure OpenAI Service. However, Azure customers are required to subscribe to Microsoft's cloud computing platform to access ChatGPT. In contrast, ChatGPT Enterprise subscribers do not need to subscribe to Azure, providing a different access avenue to OpenAI's AI capabilities.

While OpenAI and Microsoft have overlapping services, the organizations appear to be offering complementary solutions rather than directly competing. OpenAI highlighted that customers can choose the platform that best suits their business needs.

As the AI landscape continues to evolve, collaborations between AI leaders like OpenAI and major tech companies like Microsoft contribute to expanding the availability and applications of AI technology across various sectors.
